Job Title: Business Development Strategist

As a seasoned business professional, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans aligned with divisional objectives.
  • Support workforce planning by providing departmental forecasts.
  • Manage operating frameworks, provide guidance, and ensure review of work processes to achieve high performance standards.
  • Drive strategy and execution of SME businesses in the region.
  • Prepare yearly business development plans for SME clients in line with bank strategy.
  • Achieve target budgets for new and existing clients, manage financials, and articulate regional growth strategies.
  • Lead people management, including career management, coaching, and mentoring critical talent.
  • Formulate recruitment and resourcing strategies.
  • Review quality principles and processes, sponsor quality initiatives, and ensure stringent fraud control policies.
  • Minimize non-performing assets (NPAs) in the region.
People Management Responsibilities:
  • Develop a continuous talent pipeline for key roles.
  • Monitor goal achievement and implement performance management processes for direct reports.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to enable goal achievement.
