Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the detection, investigation, and response to security incidents in cloud environments. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing cloud security strategies to minimize business impact.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure rapid incident response and effective threat mitigation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this critical role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 2 years hands-on experience investigating and responding to security incidents in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Proven ability to triage and analyze security alerts from SIEM, CSPM, and native cloud security tools.
  • Understanding of the incident lifecycle (detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, post-incident review).
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK Cloud Matrix and cloud-specific threat models.
Preferred Certifications and Tools

While not required, we encourage candidates to possess certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash, as well as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) concepts like Terraform or CloudFormation, is also desirable.

Soft Skills

Effective communication and documentation skills are essential for success in this role. You should be able to:

  • Document Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lessons learned from incidents.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
