Job Title: IBM FileNet and DataCap Administrator

MUFG Global Service is seeking a highly skilled administrator to manage its IBM FileNet P8 environments and IBM DataCap applications. As an experienced IT professional, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of these systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer IBM FileNet P8 environments, including Content Engine, Process Engine, and Content Navigator.
  • Design and implement object stores, document classes, security models, and workflows.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access policies.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.
DataCap Administration:
  • Install, configure, and administer IBM DataCap applications and capture profiles.
  • Design and deploy DataCap solutions for document capture, classification, and indexing.
  • Manage DataCap task profiles, rulesets, and batch processing.
  • Troubleshoot DataCap operations and ensure optimal performance.
Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with development teams to support integration efforts between FileNet and DataCap systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6 years of hands-on experience administering IBM FileNet P8 systems.
  • 4 years of experience in IBM DataCap administration and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of database systems, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages, e.g., Python, Shell, JavaScript.
