**Job Title:** FileNet Administrator

Job Description:

The FileNet administrator is accountable for the setup, configuration, and upgrade of IBM FileNet P8 components. This encompasses Content Engine, Application Engine, Process Engine, and Content Navigator.

This role involves implementing and maintaining efficient solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade IBM FileNet P8 components to ensure seamless operation.
  2. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Security Administration: Administer FileNet security, user roles, and access permissions to maintain a secure environment.
  4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot system issues, logs, workflows, and application-level problems to minimize downtime.
  5. Patching and Upgrades: Perform FileNet system patches, hotfixes, and version upgrades to keep the system up-to-date.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support integration and performance tuning.
  7. Backup and Recovery: Schedule and monitor data backups and ensure business continuity plans are in place.
  8. Documentation: Document system configurations, procedures, and change management records to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with IT security policies and ECM governance standards.
  10. Disaster Recovery: Provide support for disaster recovery planning and testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in IBM FileNet P8 components, including Content Engine, Application Engine, Process Engine, and Content Navigator.
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and upgrade of IBM FileNet P8 components.
  • Strong understanding of system monitoring and maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of security administration principles and best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
