Job Title: IBM Filenet and Datacap Admin

This role requires a highly skilled professional to administer IBM FileNet P8 systems and DataCap applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM FileNet P8, including installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining environments.

They will also be responsible for designing and implementing object stores, document classes, security models, and workflows.

Additionally, the candidate will manage user accounts, permissions, and system access policies, conduct performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

They will also develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM FileNet P8 environments (Content Engine, Process Engine, Content Navigator).
  • Design and implement object stores, document classes, security models, and workflows.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access policies.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
  • Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM FileNet P8 systems.
  • 4+ years of experience in IBM DataCap administration and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Shell, JavaScript).
