Job Title: Strategic Operations Lead

The role of a Strategic Operations Lead is to provide oversight and guidance in ensuring the organization's surveillance function operates effectively. This involves supervising investigations into alerts, suspicious trades, and breaches, and ensuring timely escalation to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the investigation process for alerts, suspicious trades, and breaches, and ensure prompt escalation to compliance, legal, or regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and deploy surveillance systems, creating frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Lead and develop the surveillance team, fostering continuous skill enhancement in regulatory and analytical domains.
  • Benchmark best practices globally and introduce process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Present periodic surveillance reports and risk dashboards to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Establish and update surveillance policies, escalation protocols, and investigation frameworks as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of equity and derivatives markets.
  • Familiarity with analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Python.

  • Understanding of exchange operations and ecosystem.
  • Ability to integrate market knowledge with technical expertise for report automation.
  • Analytical thinking with detailed research capabilities.
