Senior Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in the field of computer science, information systems, or a related field.

  • Define and drive a reliability strategy that promotes an 'Automate-first' culture in operating services through reduction of toil.
  • Develop methodologies and strategies for identifying and eliminating toil-heavy and inefficient processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement service level objectives and metrics for critical services.
  • Design and implement monitoring strategies with engineering teams.
  • Conduct capacity planning and lead architectural reviews for reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement from incidents and contribute to test and deployment processes.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience as a SRE practitioner with 5+ years working experience in SRE role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing Service Level Objectives and operating within Error Budgets.
  • Experience implementing and operating monitoring and observability technologies for production systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with one/more public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing gitops.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of how technical systems work and interact.
  • Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of all critical Production Support processes.
