Senior Backend Developer

As a senior backend developer, you will be responsible for driving the development and architecture of our MERN stack applications.

  • Backend Development:
  • Create scalable and high-performance backend services using Node.js.
  • Design, build, and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models using MongoDB.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate frontend and backend components.
  • Ensure the smooth deployment of applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)
  • Implement code quality measures such as tests, code reviews, best practices, and documentation.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • Backend Expertise: Deep expertise in Node.js and Express is essential.
  • Database Knowledge: Strong experience with MongoDB including schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, and performance optimization.
  • Frontend Collaboration: Experience working with React and Vite, understanding how backend and frontend interact.
  • Cloud/Deployment: Strong experience with AWS including setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and security.
  • Architecture and Scaling: Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, and fault tolerance.
