Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to oversee the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud management, vendor management, and IT administration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Management:
    • Deploy, monitor, maintain, and support all cloud-based systems
    • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure
    • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs
  • Vendor Management:
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers
    • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing
    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • IT Administration:
    • Oversee daily operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
    • Ensure availability, performance, and security of IT systems
    • Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations

 

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies
    • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services
    • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Management Skills:
    • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Experience in budgeting and financial management for IT projects
    • Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical skills to assess and troubleshoot complex IT issues
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    • Strong negotiation skills for vendor management

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field or a Diploma in Engineering in Information technology or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in information technology infrastructure management
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Proven experience in managing IT vendors and negotiating contracts
  • Experience in the asset management or financial services industry is preferred
  • Relevant certifications for AWS, Azure, and Microsoft technologies are preferred
