Actuarial Intern Opportunity

This is a full-time internship role with potential for permanent position conversion.

  • Graduate degree or pursuing graduation with actuarial certifications/degrees required.
  • Proficiency in Python, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.

The selected candidate will work with engagement teams to deliver functionalities related to asset liability management, interest rate risk in banking book, behavioral modeling, Pillar 1 risks (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Operational Risk), Pillar 2 Risks (ICAAP), fund transfer pricing, and profitability analysis on proprietary application suite for Balance Sheet Management.

  • Responsibilities include building Python and Excel models on risk analysis, validating models, assisting with client user acceptance testing, developing end-to-end functionalities for modeling macro-economic factors and market prices, and adhering to development standards and protocols.
  • The selected candidate will also participate in project execution and product collateral development.
Key Requirements:
  • Fluent English language skills required.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Banking risks and quantification.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in financial instrument valuation and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in statistical, econometrics, and time series analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in use of back-end server-side languages like Python and database like MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
