Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead data-driven research and policy analysis projects. This role involves designing and applying advanced econometric and statistical methods to provide causal insights from large-scale datasets.

  • Lead data-driven research and policy analysis projects.
  • Design and apply advanced econometric and statistical methods (DiD, IV, PSM, panel data models) for causal insights.
  • Work with large-scale datasets (administrative, labour, GST, satellite, survey).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Master's/PhD in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong training in econometrics, statistics, and programming (Stata, R, or Python).
  • Experience (7+ years) in empirical research, data analysis, and publication.
Bonus Qualifications

In addition to the above qualifications, having experience in survey design and field data collection, familiarity with India's statistical system, and strong communication skills for policy briefs, government engagement, along with op-eds and journal papers would be advantageous.
