Job Description

The Deputy Director, Platform Speed Planning is a high-impact leadership role that oversees the strategic planning of inventory and fulfillment strategies across all Myntra nodes.

This role will lead a team responsible for shaping the network-wide inventory strategy directly impacting delivery speed and optimizing holding costs.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in e-commerce, supply chain, or operations, with a Tier-1/2 MBA.

They will be a masterful problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills, able to turn complex data into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elevate Speed & Efficiency: Own core processes for inventory placement and allocation, directly influencing delivery speed and optimizing holding costs.
  • Innovate & Automate: Design and deploy cutting-edge inventory models and controls that improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Optimize Resources: Ensure efficient use of critical resources—space and capacity—to maximize inventory turns and revenue.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Identify operational gaps and drive development of innovative, sustainable solutions.
  • Drive Strategic Change: Lead key initiatives from blueprint to business impact, championing projects that fundamentally improve our supply chain.
  • Collaborate for Success: Build strong relationships and influence senior leaders across operations, category management, and planning to achieve shared business objectives.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in e-commerce, supply chain, or operations, with a Tier-1/2 MBA.
  • Masterful problem-solver with exceptional analytical skills and focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Decisive leader who thrives in ambiguous environments and sets clear priorities with minimal guidance.
  • Compelling communicator who can rally and influence cross-functional and C-suite leaders toward a common goal.
  • Proven team builder with passion for developing and motivating high-performing talent.
  • Technically proficient in MS Office and SQL.
