Financial Operations Director

The company is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the finance and accounts function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, strategy, planning, and compliance across projects.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Financial Management:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support operations.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insights for executive decision-making.
  • Accounting & Reporting:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Lead audits and ensure effective closure of audit points.
  • Cost Control & Project Accounting:
  • Improve project accounting systems for new builds and repair jobs.
  • Monitor project-wise cost estimates, budgets, and actuals; highlight variances and drive corrective actions.
  • Support pricing strategies, cost estimation, and bid support for contracts.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with authorities as needed.
  • Treasury & Working Capital Management:
  • Optimise working capital including inventory, receivables, and payables.
  • Evaluate financing options for capex and project needs.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounts team to ensure high performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and financial discipline.
