Overview of the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance expert to lead our financial operations. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Strategy

  • Create and execute financial plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop long-term financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and investment analysis.
  • Promote financial insights that drive profitability and sustainable growth.

2. Accounting & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure consolidation of accounts for multiple business units.
  • Present financial reports and key performance indicators to stakeholders.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against budgets.
  • Implement effective cost control measures across departments.
  • Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other applicable laws.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Implement robust internal controls and audit mechanisms.

5. Treasury & Fund Management

  • Manage working capital, banking relationships, and fund flow.
  • Optimize utilization of funds and oversee investment strategies.
  • Monitor debt, equity, and funding requirements.

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Provide guidance on financial systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / M.Com / MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.
  • At least 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
