Enterprise Directory Migration Expert

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory migration specialist to join our team and assist in the transition of our enterprise identity infrastructure.

About the Project

This project involves hands-on engineering, scripting, and configuration across hybrid identity and network environments. You will collaborate closely with our architect and infrastructure teams to execute migration plans, automate key workflows, and troubleshoot complex identity-related issues in a secure and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and document existing AD and DNS environments
  • Migrate domain controllers and set up replication across multiple AD forests
  • Support integration and migration to Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Assist in transitioning DNS from Windows to a PaaS-based solution
  • Configure and manage DHCP scopes, conditional forwarders, and stub zones
  • Troubleshoot issues with LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM-based authentication
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for provisioning and automation
  • Execute infrastructure-as-code via Terraform within existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement plans created by the architect or lead
  • Collaborate with team members through Jira, participate in daily standups, and maintain accurate technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience

5-10 years of experience with Active Directory (multi-domain or multi-forest environments) and solid understanding of:

  • Active Directory
  • Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • PKI and NPS
  • DNS & DHCP (Windows Server and/or PaaS alternatives)
  • LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM protocols
  • Identity protocols: OIDC, OAuth2, SAML

Experience with AD Trusts, Group Policy, OUs, and FSMO roles and strong PowerShell scripting skills.
