We are seeking a seasoned VP of Site Reliability Engineering with extensive experience in driving SRE strategy and promoting automation culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, drive, and implement the SRE strategy to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Promote an 'Automate-first' approach to reduce toil and increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop methodologies for identifying and automating inefficient processes, reducing delay and redundancy.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop engineering and operational metrics with actionable plans to enhance service quality and optimize delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for critical services.
  • Design and implement monitoring strategies with Engineering to ensure real-time visibility into system performance.
  • Lead architectural reviews to identify reliability improvements and conduct capacity planning exercises.
  • Perform chaos engineering to test system resilience and lead continuous improvement from incidents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience as an SRE Practitioner with 5+ years working experience in SRE role.
  • Practical experience defining and implementing SLOs and operating to Error Budgets.
  • Proven track record in implementing and operating monitoring and observability technologies for enterprise-grade production systems.
  • Experience in corporate software development lifecycle methodology; GitOps implementation a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of technical systems and interactions.
  • 2+ years of experience with public/private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Comprehensive understanding of SRE principles and ability to evangelize.
  • Working knowledge of modern observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) design and configuration management solutions (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
