Senior People Operations Specialist

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior People Operations Specialist to lead and manage Human Resource functions.

This role requires at least 10 years of experience in HR, preferably in the Gulf region, with a solid understanding of UAE statutory compliances. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, payroll, attendance management, and HR operations, with expertise in developing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Oversee payroll administration, attendance management, and benefits for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement HR policies, job descriptions, SOPs, and employee handbooks in line with company objectives and UAE labor laws.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems to foster accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a strategic partner to management, providing insights on organizational design, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly and consistently.
  • Drive initiatives related to training, learning & development, employee engagement, and succession planning.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance HR systems, databases, and reporting structures for improved efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Prior HR experience in the Gulf region (UAE preferred) is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in recruitment, payroll, attendance management, HR operations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and performance appraisal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
