Senior Financial Accountant Role


This is a highly specialized position that requires a deep understanding of financial accounting principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in revenue recognition, financial reporting, and corporate governance.


The Senior Financial Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, preparing financial statements, and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining general ledger accounts, including revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity.
  • Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Coordinating with external auditors to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Developing and implementing internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years focused on financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, with experience working with multi-entity consolidations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
