Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer will play a vital role in all strategic matters related to financial management, planning, and operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day financial activities.
  • Effectively managing cash flow, capital budgeting, and financial reporting.

This includes managing Business Finance, Investor Relations, and Mergers & Acquisitions as well. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in global accounting and audit. Additionally, they should possess strong leadership skills and be able to provide direction and management to the finance and accounting team.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 15 years of experience, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Prior experience in investor reporting, fundraising, and listed company environments is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, lead teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing effective tax strategies, ensuring compliance with statutory and government regulations, and overseeing financial controls and systems. They will also need to manage relationships with investors, ensure timely financial reporting, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications such as CA, CS, or CFA are preferred, and prior experience in similar roles is highly valued. A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving business growth will be considered an asset in this position.
