Job Opportunity for Event Management Professional

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with our team to craft and deliver MICE proposals that meet and exceed client expectations. A key aspect of this role is building strong relationships with clients, negotiating agreements, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

This position requires a self-motivated individual who is process-oriented, innovative, and able to multitask effectively. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts, receiving and responding to RFPs, and contributing to the development of new products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Sales
  1. Maintain and grow existing client base through proactive sales activities
  2. Respond to client inquiries and develop tailored MICE proposals within tight deadlines
  3. Meet or exceed annual sales targets while driving business growth and conversion rates
Product Development and Research
  1. Conduct in-depth research to identify opportunities for new and existing MICE products
  2. Develop compelling packages and experiences for clients, working closely with cross-functional teams
  3. Benchmark and analyze competitors to ensure market competitiveness
  4. Stay up-to-date on hotel brands, destinations, and industry trends
Event Execution and Logistics
  1. Collaborate with operational teams to plan and execute seamless events
  2. Develop guidelines and scripts for event staff to ensure exceptional client experiences
  3. Monitor supplier performance and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-12 years' experience in MICE
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software applications
  • Personal and professional travel experience
