Job Description:

Ruby Application Developer Position

Our team is looking for an experienced software developer with expertise in Ruby to join our ranks. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Ruby applications and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust Ruby applications and tools that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Ruby solutions into larger systems and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to guarantee the integrity and reliability of our software products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Ruby and related technologies to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, algorithm design, or systems-level programming.
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby with at least 4+ years of experience.
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and technically challenging algorithmic code.
  • Strong understanding of algorithmic complexity, performance optimization, and computational constraints.
  • Familiarity with modern software data formats (e.g., JSON, YAML) and version-controlled codebases.
  • Domains of Expertise: Successful candidates will demonstrate deep fluency in at least four of the following areas:
  • Core Data Structures: Trie, Segment Tree, Union Find
  • Algorithmic Paradigms: Dynamic Programming, Greedy Algorithms, Bitmasking
  • Graph Algorithms: Shortest Paths, Network Flow, Topological Sorting
  • Mathematics & Number Theory: Geometry, Probability, Modular Arithmetic
  • String Processing: Suffix Trees, Rolling Hashing, Pattern Matching
  • Advanced Topics: 2-SAT, Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), Linear Programming
