We are seeking a professional with expertise in mining industry trends and innovations to join our team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and intellectual property related to the mining sector, while promoting sustainable practices and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with in-depth knowledge of mining areas, including exploration, resource evaluation, mine development, and beneficiation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A willingness to travel extensively for durations as needed, with a strong ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.

This position requires a deep understanding of regional mining industry trends, opportunities, and challenges, and the ability to generate actionable output, including recommendations and global best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop comprehensive strategies to promote investment and drive significant production growth in the mining sector, working closely with government and public companies.
  2. Provide expert advice on mining areas, supporting the development of regulatory frameworks and company mining strategies.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis on regional mining industry trends, opportunities, and challenges, generating actionable output, including recommendations and global best practices.
  4. Collaborate with mining companies, investors, and local communities to promote sustainable mining practices and build strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining fields (geology, mining specialist, etc.) or MBAs preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the mining industry and overall experience of minimum 8 years in research and consulting field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make informed decisions to optimize mining operations.
