Job Description

This role involves leading financial strategy and planning, overseeing accounting and compliance, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow and treasury management, team leadership, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement financial strategies to align with company goals and objectives.

Prepare long-term financial forecasts and budgets.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Accounting and Compliance:

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.

Manage audits, both internal and external, and maintain relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor budgetary performance.

Conduct variance analysis and suggest corrective actions.

Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure operational efficiency.

Optimize working capital and manage investments to achieve financial sustainability.

Establish and maintain banking relationships.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team to foster a high-performance culture.

Define KPIs and performance goals for the team.

Ensure continuous professional development of team members.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Implement internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.

Provide financial risk assessments for business projects and initiatives.

Requirements

A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA/CPA/CFA certification preferred.

A minimum of 6–8 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Estimated Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year.
