Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Front End Engineer to join our retail technology team.

This individual will be responsible for developing new front-end features for Store Engagement projects, including Digital Store Pages and in-store digital visuals integrated with our content management system.

This is a technical role with accountability for product development. Our team operates using the agile framework and collaborates with multiple product teams across various functions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including knowledge of standard data structures and algorithms.
  • Expert level knowledge of ReactJS ecosystem.
  • AWS expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in web application development for large enterprises.
  • Ability to design and architect Enterprise JavaScript applications using React.Js and Next.Js.
  • Experience with popular ReactJS workflows, such as Redux.
  • Expertise in understanding of web markup (HTML5 and CSS3), JSX, and templating technologies.
  • Experience writing unit tests using JavaScript testing frameworks.
  • Proficient understanding of build tools and code version tools, such as Git.
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Demonstrated understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
  • Ability to review specifications documents and provide technical inputs on implementing business solutions.
  • Good understanding of browser development tools and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of Sonar and Code Quality Metrics.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and lead a project to completion.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Python experience.
  • Mentoring or hands-on lead level experience.
