Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team and drive innovation in frontend development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of frontend engineers in creating scalable, maintainable solutions using modern frameworks and micro frontend architectures. Additionally, you will represent our engineering efforts through conference talks, community engagement, and technical blog posts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of frontend engineers.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Represent the team at conferences, technical meetups, and industry events.
- Promote seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and code quality standards through regular code reviews.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, specializing in frontend development with React.
- Expertise in modern frontend technologies, including advanced JavaScript, TypeScript for type safety, and bundlers like Webpack for optimized builds.
- Proficiency in modern CSS methodologies for scalable, maintainable UI development.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable micro frontend solutions using frameworks like Next.js for SSR/SSG.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
