Job Role:

You will provide high-level technical expertise to project teams for successful delivery of projects across the globe. You should have in-depth knowledge of various electrical systems, especially HT, MV, LV, and ELV systems, lighting, earthing & bonding, lightning protection, fire alarm & detection, sustainability, and renewable energies like solar.

You should have substantial experience in designing complex projects, mobility projects, infrastructure projects in various regions, stage working, risk assessments, managing projects and teams, interfacing with other disciplines, clients, and regions.

You will be involved in bid support and reviewing estimates produced by pursuit teams. You will train, guide, and mentor junior designers & team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing complex design deliverables for major projects for HV, MV, LV, ELV, and related systems, providing technical guidance for complex and multi-disciplinary projects across countries.
  • Continuously improving design processes leveraging technology to minimize risks.
  • Performing independent technical reviews for complex projects across the globe.
  • Participating in tender teams and advising on technical solutions.
  • Supporting professional leadership in your discipline.
  • Role modeling Arcadis HS&W principles with a robust understanding of safe design processes.
  • Actively participating in discipline and organizational initiatives aimed at betterment of organization and people.
  • Developing strong partnering relationships with GBA's to identify and resolve issues, identify business opportunities, and establish protocols to improve services offered.
  • Having a broad understanding of business and financial metrics prompting you to drive innovation to increase team contribution needed for successful operation of the business.
  • Actively innovating to ensure all projects contribute to sustainable developments.
  • Having a deep understanding of future trends and technologies and assisting in implementing them in projects.
  • Playing a major role in forming strategy of your area of work.
  • Actively amending design processes and seeking opportunities for standardization.
  • Actively achieving efficiency and quality improvements through automation.

Nice to Have:

  • Sound knowledge of design process, document security & management using electronic document management systems like SharePoint, Project-wise, Team Builder, BIM, etc.
  • Evidence of involvement & key role in any major project and complex design.
  • Evidence of producing Risk assessment or technical analysis reports or case study.
  • Expertise in use of industry relevant design tools like CAD, MicroStation, BIM, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Excellent verbal communication as well as writing skills.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Evidence of substantial contribution to team development and training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
  • 15+ years of design experience with a wide variety of Mobility, other buildings, and infrastructure projects
  • Experience in leading and managing complex design projects independently
  • Chartership with reputed international professional bodies is preferred

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year based on location and experience
