Job Title: Store Inventory Manager

Position Overview:

The Store Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and controlling inventory in compliance with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and record maintenance of inventory.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify all inventory items are properly labeled, identified, and stored as per SOPs.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation of physical vs. system stock.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely availability of inventory without disruption.
  • Maintain FIFO/FEFO System: Manage inventory issuance according to the first-in-first-out or first-expired-first-out principle.
  • Monitor Storage Conditions: Ensure optimal temperature, humidity, and cleanliness levels to maintain material quality.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including GRNs, stock registers, and SAP/ERP entries.
  • Audit Support: Ensure documentation accuracy and store readiness for internal/external audits.
  • Training and Supervision: Train and supervise inventory handlers on handling, safety, and SOP adherence.
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics/Science/Commerce or related field.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in inventory management (preferably in pharmaceuticals/medical devices/manufacturing industry).

Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or equivalent) and knowledge of inventory management techniques (FIFO, FEFO, JIT).

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to inventory handling.

Skills Required:

  • Inventory Management: Excellent knowledge of inventory management and control.
  • Documentation: Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Communication: Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Team Management: Ability to manage a team of inventory handlers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
