We are seeking a skilled and self-driven QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of our automated testing initiatives and elevate our software quality standards.
- This role demands a sharp analytical mindset, a proactive approach, and the ability to work seamlessly across both frontend and backend systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across web and backend platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis on defects and document findings clearly.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Enhance test coverage, traceability, and defect visibility.
- Support data validation to ensure consistent data quality across systems.
- Advocate for and implement QA best practices across teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA roles with a strong focus on Selenium automation.
- Proficiency in scripting with Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and working with large datasets.
- Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
