Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our logistics operations and ensure timely availability of raw materials at units and timely dispatches of finished goods with maximum customer satisfaction at optimum cost.

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of logistics strategies and plans that align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the management of inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on logistics performance metrics, including delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize logistics operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing industry (preferably) with years of experience in custom clearance of export/import consignments handling 800 to 1000 containers in a month.
  • Should have handled both containerized and break bulk movement of raw material and finished goods.
  • Should have knowledge of EXIM and Domestic logistics.
