Job Title: Cloud Data Specialist

Cloud data specialists design, implement, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using Google Cloud Platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable data processing pipelines using GCP services like Big Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Run.
  • Develop high-performance data warehouses and data marts using Big Query.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy machine learning models on GCP.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL development and analytics/data product development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with GCP native services like Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Experience with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Terraform to provision Infrastructure as Code.
  • 2+ years of professional development experience in Python.
