About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loan Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and processing commercial loan documentation, identifying key terms, and entering loan details into our system of record.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Commercial Loan Documentation Review: Review and process commercial loan documentation, including credit agreements and notes.
  2. Loan Details Entry: Enter loan details into our system of record, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, rate, repayment, accrual, collateral, etc.
  3. Credit Approval Document Interpretation: Understand and interpret the Bank's credit approval document and any applicable credit write-up.
  4. Complex Loan Structures: Understand complex loan structures and complex loan documentation, including large, syndicated transactions.
  5. Key Term Translation: Translate key terms from commercial loan documentation into our system of record.
  6. Client Communication: Act as primary point of contact for clients on all servicing related activity for our direct/bilateral/syndicated loan portfolio.
  7. ACBS System Input: Monitor and perform ACBS system input as needed for the timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes.
  8. Research and Analysis: Receive daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients and perform the necessary analysis and system input required.
  9. Reconciliation Reports: Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing.
  10. Exception Reports: Review daily exception reports, determining the necessary monetary and system maintenance required for resolution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in loan operations or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
