Content Editor Position

The Role of the Senior Content Editor

Our organization, a leading media house in India, is committed to delivering high-quality publications across various states. Our publications cater to diverse interests and needs, offering a wide range of content that engages readers.

As a Senior Content Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our editorial strategy and overseeing the performance of our content team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging content focused on education, careers, innovations, student initiatives, and campus life.
  • Collaborate with senior management to plan and structure content for print and web editions.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, and provide editorial feedback to team members to help them improve and grow.
  • Edit and proofread articles submitted by reporters, freelancers, and contributors for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 8 – 12 years of experience in journalism, preferably with a focus on education, youth, or career-related content.
  • Strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills with impeccable grammar.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
