Workplace Compliance Specialist

The Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI) is seeking a motivated professional to fill the role of Workplace Standard Auditor & Trainer. This position will be instrumental in supporting RMI's growth in India and enhancing its support to upstream supply chain actors located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct gap assessments of Indian mica processors and mines against RMI's Global Workplace Standard (GWS) and forthcoming mining standard.
  • Collaborate with processors and mine owners to implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and monitor progress in adhering to RMI workplace and due diligence standards.
  • Coordinate collective third-party audit protocols for RMI members and liaison with RMI-accredited external auditing companies.
  • Develop training content for auditors on RMI standards and conduct online or face-to-face training sessions related to responsible workplace standards at processing and mining sites.
  • Perform quality checks on audit reports, analyze data, and create presentations for team and members.
