Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Software Engineering Senior Manager to lead our DevOps efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the transformation of our software engineering practices to ensure they align with industry best practices.

This role requires a strong technical background in software engineering, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Python. You must also have extensive experience in people management and leadership, as well as a proven track record of driving SRE transformations using tools like ThousandEyes, Elastic, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and Ansible.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 14+ years of experience with education in engineering or a related field
  • 6+ years of people management experience
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Python
  • 3+ years of working experience with REST APIs and Apigee
  • 3+ years of experience in domain-driven microservices development
  • 3+ years of experience in solution design of complex enterprise-wide information technology solutions
  • 2+ years of Oracle and MongoDB experience
  • 1+ year of experience in front-end application development like Angular
  • Experience with enterprise-grade CI/CD tools like GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Harness, Artifactory, Blackduck, CheckMarx, Gradle, and Maven
  • Experience in developing applications using Agile and DevOps
