Job Title: Technical Business Analyst – EDP Platform Engineering

Location: Remote Work Arrangement.

Duration: 6 Months Contract.

We are seeking a seasoned technical business analyst to support EDP platform operations, data automation, cloud cost optimization, and infrastructure resiliency. The role will collaborate closely with engineering, data, and vendor management teams to drive process improvement and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze workflows, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and build dashboards for strategic decision-making.
  • Support AWS cloud cost optimization strategies including Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and anomaly detection.
  • Assist in infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and resiliency initiatives, focusing on Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process standardization and best practices adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and cloud operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R programming languages for data analysis and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and FinOps best practices.
  • Strong skills in Power BI/QuickSight or similar data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and cost optimization techniques.
  • Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, Databricks/Big Data exposure, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)/Continuous Integration-Centralized Delivery (CI-CD).
