Your Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of code quality in Golang by ensuring clean, efficient coding practices and leading your team towards the same goal.
  • Work closely with the product team to understand new features and projects, and design scalable systems that meet our growing demands.
  • Develop expertise in building large-scale systems that can handle millions of requests without any issues.
  • Manage Kafka, AWS services, and containerized deployments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct thorough PR reviews to ensure that best practices are followed by your team.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration by participating in daily stand-ups and product backlog discussions.
  • Keep technical documentation up-to-date so that no one is left guessing how things work.
  • Distribute workload effectively among your team members and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Monitor system health using tools like Grafana, New Relic, Sentry, and take prompt action when incidents arise.
  • Enhance our CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts (Python/Shell) to increase efficiency.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in backend development, with at least 4 years of experience in Golang.
  • Strong system design skills and experience in building complex systems.
  • Good understanding of Kafka architecture.
  • Proficiency in Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53.
  • Experience working with MySQL and MongoDB databases.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
