US Tax Associate Job Description

Job Title: US Tax Associate

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India

Work Model: Hybrid (In-office attendance on designated days)

Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST (Monday to Friday)

Extended Hours: May extend to 5:00 PM EST during peak periods; additional hours may be required without extra pay.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing various types of income tax returns, including personal and corporate tax returns. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review US personal and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Tax Planning: Assist in developing tax planning strategies for clients, including cross-border transactions and sales tax filings.
  • Client Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional communication and customer service.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 Years' Experience: In preparing and reviewing US tax returns, preferably in a public accounting or tax firm setting.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with senior staff and partners to deliver high-quality results.
