Electronics Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation Scanning Electron Microscope. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high-voltage design, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and power integrity.

The successful engineer will be responsible for designing the timing and synchronization backbone, building mixed-signal boards, ensuring clean and stable power, and providing diagnostics and logs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing the timing and synchronization backbone so optics, detectors, motion, and software operate in lockstep.
  • Building mixed-signal boards: beam control drivers, detector front-ends, data-acquisition, and robust control I/O.
  • Ensuring clean, stable power and grounding/shielding for quiet images and strong EMC behavior.
  • Providing diagnostics, fixtures, and logs so issues are obvious and field-debuggable.

Requirements include:

  • Track record shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear.
  • Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up; pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Collaborative and documentation-minded. You think in interfaces and failure modes.
