Senior Electronic Product Development Specialist

This is a high-level managerial position responsible for the creation of electronic products at an electronics manufacturing service provider. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and electronics.
Main Responsibilities:- Developing innovative electronic products with engineering teams
- Rationalizing supplier bases as per sourcing strategies for electronic components
- Collaborating with vendors to develop new parts, initiating RFQs, purchase orders, and follow-up
- Part approval processes along with quality teams
- Cost optimization through zero-based costing, rate fixation, and negotiation
The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, excellent sourcing knowledge on local and global distribution for electronic products, and be able to identify opportunities for cost savings. They will also work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of products.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or relevant field
- 4-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing and electronics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
