Job Overview

This is a full-time position for a Modern Trade Sales Manager located in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for business planning and day-to-day tasks associated with MT expansion.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Modern Trade Sales, preferably in the tea or food segments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as familiarity with MT platforms and retail chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Market Development:
    • Develop and execute business plans for MT channels
    • Implement brand awareness and advertising campaigns
    • Map opportunity markets and identify relevant tea category products through data mining
  • Sales & Channel Management:
    • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines to achieve sales targets
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and clients
    • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Relationship & Stakeholder Management:
    • Develop and manage relationships with Modern Trade clients, vendors, and business partners
    • Negotiate contracts with new vendors and clients
  • Marketing & Brand Development:
    • Implement brand awareness campaigns and product launches in MT channels
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive advertising and promotional activities
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare financial reports detailing sales performance, ROI, and profit margins
    • Analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions
  • Cross-functional Co ordinations:
    • Managing the supply chain process from procurement to shipment to customer delivery
