Procurement and Merchandise Lead

We are seeking a driven and experienced procurement professional to lead our Home Decor category. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product direction of our brand.

  • Product Planning: Develop seasonal and category-wise buying plans for furniture, lighting, planters, tableware, and other home decor products.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze sales trends, inventory movement, and forecast demand for efficient stock planning.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain trackers for vendor management, payments, logistics, returns, and damages.
  • Trend Research: Conduct trend and market research to curate relevant product assortments.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Manage vendor development, negotiations, sampling, POs, and timely deliveries.
  • Inventory Control: Coordinate with stores and warehouses for stock audits, replenishment, and inventory flow.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams on launches, campaigns, and product uploads.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience in Procurement & Merchandising (preferably in home decor, furniture, or lifestyle retail).
  • Proficiency in Excel and inventory/merchandising systems (SAP, ERP, Wondersoft, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Familiarity with B2C, experiential, or lifestyle retail formats preferred.
