Data Migration Specialist

Seeking a seasoned Data Migration Specialist to lead data migration projects from legacy systems to new platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Excel, quality assurance testing, and accountancy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to new platforms
  2. Developing and executing QA test plans to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with business and accounting rules
  3. Collaborating with team members to define and implement migration strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros)
  • Quality assurance testing (test cases, functional testing, data validation)
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills for data calculations and validation

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with data migration tools and processes
  • Familiarity with accounting processes or ERP/accounting systems
