Senior Academic Leader Position

This role involves providing strategic leadership to the Commerce Department, ensuring high-quality academic programs, innovative research initiatives, and collaborative teaching practices.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement departmental strategies, aligning with industry standards and emerging trends in commerce education.
  • Create and manage curricula that foster academic excellence, innovation, and student engagement.
  • Mentor faculty members, promoting professional growth, teamwork, and best practices in teaching and research.
  • Drive research collaborations, publications, and knowledge transfer within the department.
  • Oversee departmental resources, budget planning, and academic project management effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with students, fostering mentorship, career guidance, and academic support.
  • Represent the department in academic councils, committees, and external forums, advocating for its interests and reputation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Commerce or related field from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching, research, and leadership roles, with a strong record of academic publication and achievement.
  • At least 3-5 years of proven experience as Head of Department in a respected university or college.
  • Established networks and ability to build partnerships with industry, academia, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and administrative skills, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and student success.
