Expert Geospatial Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled expert geospatial analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Centre of Excellence, you will play a vital role in providing expert technical support for GIS mapping applications.

About the Role

  • Provide timely technical support to GIS mapping application users via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS software, data layers, and functionality.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on GIS features, best practices, and data management.
  • Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and technical documentation for self-service support.
  • Assist in data acquisition, processing, and integration while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Configure GIS mapping applications and develop custom scripts, tools, and workflows for enhanced functionality.
  • Test and validate GIS software updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with GIS developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions.
  • Gather feedback from users to recommend improvements and enhance GIS services.
  • Stay updated on GIS trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance support capabilities.
