AWS DevOps Architect Role

This strategic role in our Professional Services Innovation Team focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable infrastructure using AWS services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the design of high-availability infrastructure solutions, ensuring adherence to performance, reliability, and security best practices.
  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Maintain applications and infrastructure, optimizing configurations and resource utilization through advanced techniques.
  • Collaborative Leadership:
    • Work closely with development and operations teams to define infrastructure requirements and drive organizational improvements.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Enhance the Change Management process to ensure controlled and efficient deployment of changes.
  • Critical Systems Development:
    • Architect and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to improve application deployment and release management processes.
  • Automation and Provisioning:
    • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform for consistency and efficiency in deployments.
  • Monitoring and Performance Tuning:
    • Build and manage monitoring tools like CloudWatch and implement logging and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Security Compliance:
    • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and enforce security best practices.
  • Deployment Management:
    • Own the deployment process and create detailed deployment artifacts, including plans for potential rollbacks.
  • Knowledge Management:
    • Document and maintain records of infrastructure configurations and changes, sharing knowledge among team members.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Provide comprehensive updates to stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and operational metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Troubleshooting:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software development and deployment processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
