Cloud Security Expert Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our organization.

  • Develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution using various AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS).
  • Implement identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms.
  • Monitor cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and delivering a scalable and highly available solution for applications migrating to the Cloud.
  • Securing and encrypting data by providing secret management solutions with versioning enabled.
  • Building backup solutions for running application's downtime and maintaining a parallelly running disaster recovery environment in the backend.
  • Working with the data-based application migration teams for strategically and securely moving data from On-premises data centers to the cloud storage within an isolated environment.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture.
  • Expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
