Job Title: Oracle Performance Tuning

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team in this Database Operations Role.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in Oracle performance tuning and database operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of databases, including performance monitoring, query optimization, code deployments, access management, and database analysis.
  • Operate in Oracle and Exadata database re-platforming efforts.
  • Create database objects, investigate performance issues, and monitor data retention.
  • Work closely with data architects, data analysts, and database owners to support both short-term work requests and long-term strategy implementation.
  • Convey findings and recommendations to large groups.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of logical and physical DBA experience, including experience in Oracle Exadata.
  • An extensive working knowledge of all aspects of Database Data Movement and Processing, including Golden Gate and Informatica ETL.
  • Familiarity with JIRA workflow processes and agile methodology.
  • Working experience with TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
