Manufacturing Engineer Role

Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve production issues, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. They will also be responsible for:

1. Conducting technical analysis of assembly manufacturing processes to support management decisions.

2. Designing and directing the acquisition, design, fabrication, and repair of all necessary tooling and machines;

3. Troubleshooting day-to-day process issues, developing solutions, and monitoring improvements.

4. Developing stop capabilities by implementing better detection in the assembly process.

5. Procuring material related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers;

6. Performing quality checks on machines and assembly equipment.

7. Analyzing and deploying engineering change notices, SWS creation, Control plan, PFMEA, SFMEA, Process documentation, etc.

8. Working experience on Manufacturing Execution system.

9. Establishing and maintaining bill of materials and work orders.

10. Responding to customer issues and leading process improvements continuously.

11. Taking proactive action to improve the assembly process for quality as well as velocity, line balancing.

12. Focusing on bringing new technology into the assembly process for better control and reliable process.

13. Ensuring facility and system readiness for NPI.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical or equivalent with at least 10+ years of experience in assembly processes.

• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to work in 1st/2nd/3rd shifts.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in the engine manufacturing environment.

• Experience with engine/automotive manufacturing process.

• Prior experience of paint shop manufacturing engineering activities.

• Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers.

• Responding to customer issues and leading process improvements continuously.

• Proactive action to improve the assembly process for quality as well as velocity, line balancing.

• Focusing on bringing new technology into the assembly process for better control and reliable process.

• Ensuring facility and system readiness for NPI.
