Job Title: Lead Accounting Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Lead Accounting Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify and prepare purchase orders, invoices, and supplementary bills in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash control, voucher preparation, and daily transaction entries in accounting systems.
  • Coordinate creditors management and vendor payments via electronic fund transfers.
  • Liaise with bankers for daily operations and handle letters of credit documentation.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Compute salaries and wages, maintain attendance registers.
  • Prepare monthly stock statements for banks under cash credit facilities.
  • Assist in finalizing accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Draft official letters related to accounts and statutory matters.
  • Compile management information system reports.
Statutory Compliances:
  • Manage Income Tax: compute tax deductions, payment, e-filing of returns, issue Form 16/16A, advance tax computation, and ITR filing.
  • Pursue GST: registration, amendments, challan generation, filing of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B, annual returns, refunds, audits, and E-Way bills.
  • Negotiate Provident Fund & Employees' State Insurance: monthly contributions, UAN generation, transfers/withdrawals, employee registration under PF/ESI.
  • Ensure Legacy Compliances: Value-Added Tax/Central Sales Tax, Excise Duty – filing, reconciliations, and audit support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1.3 – 7 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
