Job Title: Senior Accounting Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial controls. Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail are essential for this role.

The primary responsibilities of this position include providing support to the finance team and other internal departments with complex accounting matters, protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential, and performing ad hoc finance-related duties.

In addition, the successful candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries and ledger maintenance, ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

Responsibilities also include preparing and filing GST returns, handling TDS/TCS compliance and return filings, and ensuring accurate and timely filing of professional tax (PT) and provident fund (PF) returns.

The accounting professional will also prepare monthly management information system (MIS) reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets, develop monthly budgets in coordination with business requirements, and ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books, Microsoft Navision, and Zoho Payroll
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas
  • Analytical thinking and high attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
